WHAT IS ENDOMETRIOSIS?

HOW DOES VISANNE (DIENOGEST) WORK?

Visanne (dienogest) works by reducing the production of estrogen in the body, which helps to reduce the growth of endometrial tissue and relieve pain.

DO NOT TAKE VISANNE (DIENOGEST) IF YOU:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Have active venous thromboembolic disorder (blood clots).

Have or had arterial or cardiovascular disease.

Have severe liver disease or liver tumors.

Have known or suspected hormone-dependent tumors.

Have unexplained vaginal bleeding.

Have migraines with aura.

Are allergic to dienogest or any other ingredients in the tablets.

HOW TO TAKE VISANNE (DIENOGEST)

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day. You can take Visanne (dienogest) with or without food. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember and then continue with your next dose at the usual time. If you miss multiple doses, consult your doctor.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Common side effects may include:
