Ultibro Breezhaler is a medicine used to help you breathe easier. It contains two active ingredients: indacaterol and glycopyrronium. These work together to ope up your airways and help you breathe better.


WHAT IS IT FOR?

Ultibro Breezhaler is used for the long-term treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It is not for treating asthma or sudden breathing problems.


HOW TO USE ULTIBRO BREEZHALER

  • Take once daily: Use one capsule with the Breezhaler inhaler at the same time each day.
  • Do not swallow the capsules: Only use them with the inhaler provided.
  • Follow the instructions: Make sure to use the inhaler correctly to get the full dose of medicine. If you have any questions, ask your healthcare provider.

  • WHO SHOULD NOT USE ULTIBRO BREEZHALER?

  • Do not use if you are allergic to indacaterol, glycopyrronium, or any other ingredients in the medicine.
  • Do not use if you are under 18 years old.
  • Do not use for treating asthma or sudden breathing problems.

  • IMPORTANT WARNINGS

    Asthma-related death: Long-acting beta2-agonists like indacaterol may increase the risk of asthma-related death. Ultibro Breezhaler is only for COPD.

    Do not use for sudden symptoms: This medicine is not a rescue inhaler. Use a short-acting inhaler for sudden breathing problems.


    POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

    • Common side effects: Cough, sore throat, headache, dizziness, urinary tract infection, sinusitis, and rhinitis.
    • Serious side effects: If you experience symptoms like eye pain, vision changes, difficulty urinating, chest pain, or fast heartbeat, contact your doctor immediately.

    SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

    Driving and using machines: Be cautious if you experience dizziness or blurred vision.

    Conditions to watch for: Use with caution if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, cardiovascular disorders, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor if you have any of these conditions.


    MISSED DOSE

    If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take more than one dose in a day.


    OVERDOSE

    In case of overdose, seek medical help immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include fast heartbeat, chest pain, or feeling shaky.


    STORAGE

    Store the capsules in the blister pack to protect them from moisture. Only remove the capsule right before use.
