HOW TO USE FIASP?

Before Meals: Inject Fiasp up to 2 minutes before eating. If needed, you can inject it up to 20 minutes after starting your meal.

Injection Sites: You can inject Fiasp into your abdomen, upper arm, or thigh. Rotate the injection site within the same region to avoid skin problems.

Dosage: Your doctor will help you determine the right dose. The dose may need adjustments based on your blood sugar levels, diet, activity level, and other medications.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Hypoglycemia (Low Blood Sugar): This is the most common side effect. Symptoms include cold sweats, shakiness, dizziness, hunger, and confusion. Always carry a source of sugar with you.

Hyperglycemia (High Blood Sugar): Symptoms include frequent urination, increased thirst, and blurred vision. If untreated, it can lead to serious complications.

Allergic Reactions: Watch for signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, and swelling at the injection site. Severe reactions include difficulty breathing and a rapid heartbeat.

STORAGE

Unopened Fiasp: Store in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.

In Use: Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 28 days. Do not expose to heat or direct light.

Fiasp insulin is a clear, colorless solution of insulin aspart. When purchasing Fiasp insulin from Canada, it is available in three formats:

To use Fiasp® FlexTouch®, start by washing your hands and attaching a new needle to the pen. Prime the pen by dialing 2 units and pressing the dose button. Then, select your prescribed dose and inject it into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Press the dose button fully and hold it for 6 seconds to ensure the full dose is delivered. After injecting, safely dispose of the needle.
