Alrex® is an eye drop medication used for the short-term relief of signs and symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, such as itching and redness in the eyes due to pollen allergies. The active ingredient is loteprednol etabonate, a type of corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the eyes.

How to use Alrex®
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply one drop into the affected eye(s) four times a day.
- Use for a short period, usually not more than two weeks unless directed by your doctor.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
- If you wear soft contact lenses, wait at least 10-15 minutes after using Alrex® before putting your lenses in.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, wait until the next scheduled dose. Do not double up.
