WHAT IS ANORO ELLPITA?

Anoro Ellipta combines two medications: umeclidinium and vilanterol. These medications work together to relax the muscles around the airways, allowing them to open up and make breathing easier.


WHEN TO AVOID ANORO ELLIPTA?
  • People allergic to umeclidinium, vilanterol, or any other ingredients in the inhaler.
  • People who have severe milk protein allergies.
  • It is not for people under 18 years of age.
  • It is not for treating asthma.

    • IMPORTANT WARNINGS
  • Asthma Warning: This inhaler is not for asthma. Using it can increase the risk of asthma-related death.
  • Overdose Risk: Do not use more than the prescribed dose. Using too much can cause serious heart problems.
  • Not for Sudden Breathing Problems: Anoro Ellipta is for daily use to manage COPD. It will not help with sudden breathing problems. You should have a quick-relief inhaler for sudden symptoms.

    • HOW TO USE ANORO ELLIPTA
  • Daily Use: Use one inhalation (breathe in) once a day, at the same time each day.
  • Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take more than one inhalation in a day.
  • Preparation: When you first open the inhaler, write the discard date on the label. Discard it 6 weeks after opening or when the counter reads “0”.

    • POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
  • Common: Sore throat, sinus infection, lower respiratory infection, diarrhea, muscle spasms, chest pain.
  • Serious: Fast heartbeat, high blood pressure, chest pain, tremors, nervousness.

    • If you have any serious side effects or signs of an allergic reaction (such as trouble breathing or swelling of the face and throat), stop using the inhaler and seek medical help immediately.


    STORAGE
  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight.
  • Keep it out of reach of children.
  • Do not use it after the expiration date.

    • OTHER PRECAUTIONS
  • Heart Problems: Use with caution if you have heart issues like irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure.
  • Glaucoma or Urinary Retention: If you have eye problems like narrow-angle glaucoma or issues with urination, use this inhaler with caution.
