How to Use Atrovent HFA
- Shake the inhaler and remove the cap.
- Prime the inhaler: If using for the first time or after more than 3 days, press down twice to release two puffs into the air.
- Breathe out completely.
- Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, close your lips around it, and keep your teeth apart.
- Press the inhaler and breathe in deeply at the same time.
- Hold your breath for a few seconds and then breathe out slowly.
- If a second puff is needed, wait about one minute and repeat steps 3-6.
- Replace the cap after use.
