WHAT IS BREZTRI AEROSPHERE?

Breztri Aerosphere is an inhaler used to help manage symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes conditions like chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It combines three medications in one inhaler to help you breathe better and reduce the chances of flare-ups.

HOW DOES BREZTRI AEROSHPERE WORK?

Breztri Aerosphere contains three medicines:

Budesonide: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Glycopyrronium: A bronchodilator that helps open up your airways by relaxing the muscles around them.

Formoterol: Another bronchodilator that also helps open up your airways, making it easier to breathe.

WHO SHOULD USE BREZTRI AEROSPHERE?

Breztri Aerosphere is for adults with COPD who need help managing their symptoms. It is not for people under 18 years old, or for those who need an inhaler for sudden breathing problems or asthma.

HOW TO USE BREZTRI AEROSHPERE

Daily Use: Use your Breztri Aerosphere inhaler twice daily – once in the morning and once in the evening.

Dosage: Inhale two puffs each time you use it.

Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose.

IMPORTANT TIPS

Consistency: Use Breztri Aerosphere every day, even if you feel well.

Technique: Follow the instructions for use to ensure you’re using it correctly. There’s a helpful video at www.breztri.ca/video.

Rinse Your Mouth: After using the inhaler, rinse your mouth with water to prevent infections in your mouth and throat.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Common side effects include:

Nausea

Headache

Cough

Muscle cramps

Oral thrush (a fungal infection in your mouth)

Serious side effects that need immediate medical attention:

Allergic reactions: Difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips, or throat, severe rash.

Heart problems: Chest pain, rapid heartbeat.

Eye problems: Blurred vision, eye pain.

WHEN NOT TO USE BREZTRI AEROSPHERE

Do not use Breztri Aerosphere if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It’s also not meant for sudden breathing problems – have a separate rescue inhaler for emergencies.

PRECAUTIONS

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Other Medications: Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, as some can interact with Breztri Aerosphere.

Medical Conditions: Let your doctor know if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, liver or kidney issues, or any other serious health conditions.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Storage: Keep your inhaler at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

Disposal: Dispose of the inhaler when the dose indicator shows zero or if it is expired. Do not puncture the canister.
