HOW DOES INCRUSE ELLIPTA Work?

INCRUSE ELLIPTA contains a medicine called umeclidinium. This medication belongs to a group of drugs known as long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMAs). It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways in your lungs, helping to keep them open and making it easier to breathe.


WHO SHOULD NOT USE INCRUSE ELLIPTA?

  • Children under 18 years old.
  • People who are allergic to umeclidinium or any other ingredients in INCRUSE ELLIPTA.
  • People with a severe milk protein allergy.

  • HOW TO USE INCRUSE ELLIPTA

    1. Take it once a day: Use it at the same time every day.
    2. Inhale it correctly: Follow these steps to use your inhaler:
      • Open the inhaler by sliding the cover down until you hear a click.
      • Breathe out fully, away from the inhaler.
      • Put the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips around it.
      • Take a long, steady, deep breath in through your mouth.
      • Hold your breath for 3-4 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
      • Close the inhaler by sliding the cover back up.

    MISSED DOSE

    If you miss a dose, take your next dose at the usual time the next day. Do not take an extra dose to make up for the missed one.
