What is Enstilar®?

Enstilar® is a foam spray used to treat psoriasis vulgaris in adults. It contains two active ingredients: calcipotriol (a vitamin D-like substance) and betamethasone (a corticosteroid). Together, they help to reduce the rapid growth of skin cells and inflammation.

How to Use Enstilar®

• Shake the Can: Shake the can well before each use.
• Spray on the Skin: Hold the can at least 3 cm from the affected skin and spray for about 2 seconds. This should cover an area roughly the size of your palm.
• Rub in Gently: Gently rub the foam into the affected area. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing.
• Wash Hands: Wash your hands after application, unless treating hands.
• Do Not Use on Certain Areas: Avoid using on your face, underarms, groin, or broken skin.

Important Safety Information

• Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Medical Conditions: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, liver, or kidney problems.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Age Restrictions: Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Side Effects

Storage

Store at Room Temperature: Keep the can at room temperature (59-86°F).

Keep Away from Heat: Do not expose to temperatures above 120°F and keep away from open flames.
