COMBIGAN Eye Drops - Canada Product Information

Combigan is an eye drop used to reduce high eye pressure in people with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It contains two medicines: brimonidine and timolol.

How Does Combigan Work?

Combigan works by reducing the fluid production and increasing fluid drainage in your eye, which helps lower eye pressure.

How to Use Combigan:

  1. Wash Your Hands: Before using the drops, make sure your hands are clean.
  2. Prepare the Bottle: Shake the bottle well and remove the cap.
  3. Apply the Drops: Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze one drop into the eye.
  4. Close Your Eye: Gently close your eye and press your finger against the inside corner of the eye for about 1-2 minutes to prevent the drops from draining.
  5. Avoid Contamination: Do not let the dropper touch your eye or any other surface.
  6. Repeat if Necessary: If you need to use the drops in both eyes, repeat the steps for the other eye.
  7. Recap the Bottle: Replace the cap immediately after use.

When to Use Combigan:

Use Combigan exactly as prescribed by your doctor, typically twice a day, about 12 hours apart.
