    Who Should Not Use Efudex?

    Do not use Efudex if you:

  • Are allergic to fluorouracil or any other ingredients in the cream.
  • Have low DPD enzyme levels.
  • Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
  • Are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed.

  • Precautions Before Using Efudex

  • Inform your healthcare provider about any severe skin conditions.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV light while using Efudex. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen with at least SPF 15.

  • How to Use Efudex

    1. Wash the affected area with soap and water.
    2. Dry the area completely.
    3. Apply a thin layer of Efudex to cover the entire affected area. Use a cotton-tipped swab, suitable glove, or fingertips. Wash hands immediately even if using gloves.
    4. Avoid getting Efudex in your eyes, nostrils, or mouth.

    Dosage:

    Missed Dose

    If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.


    Possible Side Effects

    Storage Instructions

    Store Efudex between 59°F and 86°F, away from heat and direct light.
