HOW TO INJECT FIASP INSULIN USING THE VIAL

  1. Prepare Your Supplies:

Fiasp insulin vial, insulin syringe, alcohol swab, and sharps container

  2. Wash Your Hands:

Clean your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

  3. Inspect the Insulin:

Check the vial for any particles or discoloration. Fiasp should be clear and colorless.

  4. Prepare the Vial:

  9. Inject the Insulin:

    • Pinch the skin at the injection site.
    • Insert the needle at a 90-degree angle.
    • Push the plunger to inject the insulin slowly and steadily.
    • Wait a few seconds, then remove the needle.
  10. Dispose of the Needle Safely:

Place the used needle and syringe in a sharps container.
