How to Use Fragmin

Unstable Heart Conditions: 120 IU/kg twice daily, with a maximum of 10,000 IU every 12 hours.

Cancer Patients: 200 IU/kg once daily for the first month, then 150 IU/kg for the following months.

Possible Side Effects

Common: Bruising at the injection site, mild bleeding.

Serious: Major bleeding, allergic reactions, low platelet count.

Less Common: Elevated liver enzymes, skin rash, hair loss.
