How to Take Pentasa
Dosage

- Crohn’s Disease: The typical dose is 1 gram (2 tablets) taken four times a day. For maintaining remission, 3 grams per day is recommended.

- Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, crush, or break them.
Missed Dose

Do Not Take Pentasa If You:
- Have a known allergy to mesalazine or any other salicylates.
- Have severe kidney or liver problems.
- Have stomach or duodenal ulcers.
- Are younger than 2 years old.
