Estradot is a skin patch that delivers a hormone called estradiol into your body through your skin. It's used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. Estradot is also used to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal women.


HOW TO USE ESTRADOT

Application: Apply the patch to a clean, dry area of the lower abdomen, buttocks, or hip. Avoid applying the patch to your waistline or near the breasts.

Changing the Patch: Change the patch twice a week (every 3-4 days). Try to apply the new patch on a different spot to prevent skin irritation.

Missed Dose: If a patch falls off, try to reapply it. If it doesn't stick, apply a new patch. Continue with your regular schedule.


DOSAGE

The starting dose is usually the 50 microgram patch. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response. Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration needed.
