Vyzulta™ is an eye drop solution used to reduce high pressure in the eye for patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.


HOW DOES VYZULTA™ WORK?
Vyzulta™ helps to lower the pressure in your eye by increasing the outflow of fluid from inside the eye.

INGREDIENTS IN VYZULTA™:
  • Active ingredient: Latanoprostene Bunod
  • Non-medicinal ingredients:> Benzalkonium Chloride, Citric Acid, EDTA, Glycerin, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Citrate, and Water.

  • WHO SHOULD AVOID VYZULTA™:

    Individuals who are allergic to latanoprostene bunod or any other ingredient in the eye drops.


    BEFORE USING VYZULTA™, TELL YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU:
  • Have or had eye inflammation (iritis or uveitis).
  • Have or had a torn lens capsule or eye swelling (macular edema).
  • Have or had a viral eye infection (herpes keratitis).
  • Have severe or uncontrolled asthma.
  • Use other eye drops.
  • Notice changes in your eyelashes or eye color.
  • Wear contact lenses.
  • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

  • HOW TO USE VYZULTA™:

    Dosage: Apply one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.


    Instructions:

    • Avoid touching your eye, eyelids, surrounding areas, fingers, or any other surface with the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
    • Remove contact lenses before applying and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.
    • If using other eye drops, apply them at least 5 minutes apart.
    • Follow your doctor’s instructions and do not use Vyzulta™ more than once a day.

    MISSED DOSE:

    If you forget to apply a dose, continue with the next dose as scheduled. Do not double the dose.


    POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
  • The most common side effects include eye redness, eye irritation, eye pain, and pain at the application site.
  • If you experience severe or persistent side effects, contact your healthcare professional.

  • STORAGE:
  • Store unopened bottles in the refrigerator. Once opened, store at 36º to 66ºF for up to 8 weeks.
  • Protect from light and freezing.
